Since it was founded in 1883 by Antonio Pascucci, this Italy-based chain of cafés has a heavy presence in the Le Marche and Emilia-Romagna regions of Italy. They roast their own beans, have earned pretty good coffee accolades from the Gambero Rosso's Bar d'Italia, and embrace modern Italian furniture designs. Their espresso drink menus get a little 'fantastico' with their creations, if you like that sort of thing. They opened up their first non-Italy café in San Francisco in January 2011.
