This pleasant, indoor/outdoor café is one of the few espresso bars in town that lives up to high standards. A few indoor tables for reading the newspaper, and some patio seating out in the back. Fresh baked goods. Their coffee beans come from Estate Coffee in Monterey, and their staff is well trained in the art of deliberate shot tamping and texturing steamed milk. Using a three-group VFA Expres machine, they produce an espresso with a textured, medium brown crema with a pungent, herbal flavor. Served in Eschenbach cups.
