This more modern café, located in the geographic center of Alba's old town, dominates the pedestrian walkway along the main shopping district. It's tables and chairs are located all over the cobblestone streets, though it has a smaller space with tables and a bar indoors. Using a three-group La Cimbali M32 Dosatron and Asti's Ponchione coffee, they pull shots with a mottled medium brown crema. It has a pungent flavor of pepper and mild spice. A good standard cup for Piemonte. ?0.90.
