A classic café towards the river at the end of the Piazza Vittorio Veneto. The apertivo, or happy hour, buffet is laid on heavy here. Using a three-group Rancilio, they pull shots with a medium and dark brown speckled crema. It has a good degree of coagulation, though it's not too thick. Flavorwise, it's mellow - a light peppery flavor that's a touch subdued for Torino. Served in Caffè Costadoro logo cups. ?1.
