This Gardens location of the bright-blue-and-white-branded Cape Town "health food" chain has a few white, modern indoor café chairs and tables. The slogan is "Food Naturally," and they offer breakfast (but only after 9am - don't ask), sandwiches, smoothies, and coffee from Origin Coffee Roasting (they also display Origin branding inside). Using a single-group WEGA, they pull shots rather high in the Continental cup with a large glass of water on the side. It has a mottled medium- and light-brown crema of sizeable thickness and volume. Flavorwise, it is a soft, marshmallow-like cup. There's a smooth, mellow flavor of mild spices and herbs with a hint of sweetness. R10. [CLOSED: as of 11/2010.]
