This restaurant/café has existed at this spot for a number of years and remains one of the better among a few restaurants on the island of São Jorge. There's a large parking are out front among the lava rocks, overlooking Porto da Urzelina and the channel leading up to Pico island. There is limited outdoor seating. Inside, there is a bar/café with a number of pastries before you enter either of two larger, brightly colored dining rooms for the restaurant.There's a two-group, orange Delta Cafés Ruby machine at the bar. With it, they pull shots that are served a little full in the cup with a thinner layer of medium to lighter brown crema. It has the flavor of spice, a little smoke, and some cedar - but it's diluted somewhat by the pour size in the Costa Verde designer Delta cups. ?0.60.
