Review
This outlet of the mini-chain opened in 2011 and does a bit of justice for decent espresso in SFO airport in Terminal 2, near Gate 51B. They even sell Blue Bottle Coffee beans besides their usual allotment of salads, panini, and prepared coffees. Using a two-group Linea they pull shots with a body on the thinner side with a medium brown crema. It has a balanced flavor of mild spices and some herbal pungency. But more notable is that there isn't really anything else nearby to its standards. For example, they serve an 8-oz cappuccino and a 12-oz latte. While the cappuccino may be large and a little milk by the 5.5-oz standard, it's a whale of an improvement over what goes by the same name at the Peet's across the way. Milk frothing is also pretty adequate.
