Mobile espresso cart/kiosk at Mission & Spear Streets. There's also one around the corner at the 120 Howard St. courtyard. No place nearby to sit and sip, so it's all "to go." Espresso is served in a small paper cup (when available) from a three-group Brasilia. The crema is typically thin and an uneven medium brown; it dissipates quickly and regularly contains larger bubbles. With a smoky flavor that's a touch ashy. Beware when they're out of small cups: the large ones are used and the barista intentionally overextracts to fill them.
