Cubby-hole of an Italian deli. No inside seating, but two sidewalk tables. Pasta, panini, salads, and espresso. Barista makes a slow, deliberate espresso pour, leaving only a thin layer of excessively pale (almost white) crema. Dry flavor, closer to malty than anything else, and leaving a considerable mouthfeel and aftertaste. Body weight and flavor profile all vary here. This was once a better cup when the pour was much shorter. Overpriced drip coffee. They should have stopped making espresso long before Starbucks moved in down both streets they are on. [CLOSED: Now the Sentinel as of May 2008.]
