Review
A very L.A.-type concept, a drive thru (sic) kiosk that serves coffee and espresso, that's actually based out of Davis, CA. Gives you that Tastee Freeze feeling - all they need is for you to provide your order to a giant fiberglass head of a clown. But they do cater to walk-ups from the nearby Smart & Final (no, it's not discount mortuary services) parking lot. Surprisingly, they serve espresso with a three-group La Marzocco and produce a medium brown crema of moderate thickness. It lacks any bitterness and actually has some natural vanilla-like sweetness. And it's not because they sneak a shot of Torani (the Glade air freshener of the world of bitter espresso) in while you're not looking, either.
