Born in Rome in 1905 by Alfredo Danesi, this roaster considers itself the originator of the "original Italian espresso and cappuccino". It expanded its operations outside of Italy in 1973. Few places offer Danesi in the Bay Area. However, we've found the "home version" of their beans to be quite worthy considering its age on shipping here: a chocolately aroma, richer flavor, and decent crema.
