In the meantime, owner Jason Benford sold the De La Paz interests to Four Barrel Coffee Roasters in February 2013 so that he could commit more time to focus on his sustainable wood business. Four Barrel announced they intend to focus their flagship brand on single origin coffees while De La Paz would focus on their blends and the sweetness and body they could bring.
